I could not find good pictures for my gods and goddesses so I decided to make a diorama and use the Greek alabaster statues that I have at home for the models. I stuck two toilet paper rolls on top on one another and then stuck a picture of a temple column on the front to create the temple columns. For the background, I used a picture of a temple wall with Greek writings on it, I copied this four times to make the area of the back wall. The sides are pictures of a wall of columns from a temple in Greece. All these pictures I got from free picture websites. For the floor, I used wet tea bags to soak the paper and give it an old stained stone look. During this process one of tea bags broke and tea fell over the paper, I decided it made it look more authentic as the tea looked like dirt on the floor, I went on and broke open a few more tea bags to create ‘dirt’ for the floor. I had a great time creating the scenes and I enjoyed the challenge.

Yay, I love arts and crafts
sticking my walls together
lining up the perfect shot
gotta get that angle right
just trying to make sure it fits in the frame
yeah I’m gonna need a bigger back wall
using tea bags to make the old stone effect
I used so many tea bags
